Zechariah 12 shows Jesus is God

In Zechariah 12, doesn’t GOD say in verse 12 “when they look on me, on him whom they have pierced”. This literary happened on the cross, which means Jesus was speaking in Zechariah 12 and Jesus is God.

Zechariah 12:1 clearly indicates GOD the Almighty to be the LORD, who is the one speaking.

Zechariah 12:2-9 shows how GOD intents to defend Judah and Jeruselam against an invasion and also conquered the surrounding nations.

Zechariah 12:10-14 shows a sudden change of tone. Instead of celebration for the victory, there is mourning.

This is another strong evidence that GOD’s plan did not happen, due to men’s sin. This chapter shows that Jesus being humiliated, tortured and crucified is not GOD’s intention. It is men’s evil deed from Satan’s deceit, but GOD use it to achieve an alternate plan.

Zecharia 12:10 seems to show GOD has been pierced and since it is Jesus that has been physically pierced, then it goes by inference that Jesus and GOD is the same entity, especially if you read the NIV, KJV or ASV. But look at ESV below. It is clear that Jesus is the one being pierced and piercing Jesus, GOD’s messenger, Holy Angel, one that GOD himself is well pleased is literally piercing GOD himself. Notice there is a distinction of ‘me’ and ‘him’ in all translation. If Jesus and GOD is the same entity, the word ‘him’ should not be there.

Zechariah 12:10 (GOD) [ESV]

“And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and pleas for mercy, so that, when they look on me, on him whom they have pierced, they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for an only child, and weep bitterly over him, as one weeps over a firstborn.

If it is true that Jesus is GOD himself, why is it so difficult to prove? Instead it is easy to prove that GOD and Jesus are two different entity, as seen above.
